Thanks to everyone was sponsored to build a den during our den building week. We raised an amazing amount of money for Save the Children – a huge £551.25. Well done everyone.

A great assembly this morning, where we found out about the activities on offer at the Equestrian Centre. You can find out more by taking a look at the following website: www.my-life.org.uk
The children all took an active part in the assembly, with many going out to the front to help out. Mr Rigby and myself also took part in a ‘Bush Tucker Trial’ – take a look at the grasshopper that we tried. Mr Rigby thought it tasted like pistachios, I really wasn’t impressed.
Wow, what a half term we have had in the run up to Easter, check out the best bits of our class blogs. Reception have been busy looking after their special delivery chicks and Year 1 have been finding out more about the Easter story. You really should take a look at the jeeps that the Year 2 classes have created whilst on their African Safari.
Key Stage 2 have been just as busy with Year 3 being ‘Eco Friendly’ and designing & making models which include levers. Year 4 have been exploring Rangoli patterns, take a look at the beautiful art work that they produced, they have also thought about what they know already about habitats and food chains ready for their summer context for learning – remember to head back at the end of the summer term to find out what they have learnt. Head over to read how to keep your body healthy with Year 5 and to find out about the Vikings. Super stories have been created by the Year 6 children in both classes – take a read, they are really interesting.
We would love you to comment on our class blogs and let us know what you think. I’m sure there are loads of other blogs that deserve a mention, feel free to let us know in reply to this post.
